How Silverdale Junk Co Works — Our 4-Step Process

We keep it simple. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you call to the moment the truck drives away.

Step 1: Call or Text for a Quick Estimate

Call or text (360) 928-5949 and tell us what you need removed — the type of items, roughly how much there is, and where you are located. We will give you a ballpark price range over the phone so you know what to expect before we arrive. Most estimates take under two minutes.

You can also describe the job with a photo if that is easier — text us a picture of the garage, shed, or pile and we can give you a more precise estimate before we visit.

Step 2: We Arrive On Time and Walk the Job

We show up at the scheduled time — or call ahead if anything changes. When we arrive, we do a quick walk-through of everything that needs to go. We look at the volume, identify any specialty items (heavy safes, pianos, hazmat, electronics), and assess access.

After the walk-through, we give you a flat-rate price on the spot. This is the price. You approve it before we load a single item. No surprises, no changes once the job is underway, no extra charges added when the truck is full.

Step 3: We Do All the Work

Once you approve the price, we get to work. We carry everything out — from basements, attics, upper floors, and tight spaces. We bring the dollies, straps, and equipment for the job. You do not need to move items to the driveway or bag anything up. We work in the space as it sits.

During loading, we sort materials where possible. Metal goes to one area of the truck for recycling. Electronics are segregated for e-waste processing. Items in donation-worthy condition are noted for delivery to local organisations.

Step 4: We Leave the Space Clean

Once everything is loaded, we sweep the area — garage floor, basement, attic, wherever we worked — and do a final check for items left behind. We leave the space broom-clean. The truck drives away and the space is yours to use.

After the job, we deliver materials to their appropriate destinations: metal to Kitsap County recyclers, electronics to certified e-waste facilities, donatable items to Habitat for Humanity ReStore or Goodwill, and the remainder to the licensed Kitsap County transfer station.

Same-Day and Next-Day Availability

We maintain same-day and next-day availability across Kitsap County. Call early in the morning for the best chance of same-day service. Next-day is almost always available.

What We Charge

All pricing is flat-rate — confirmed on arrival before we start. No hourly billing, no disposal surcharges, no fuel fees. A ballpark:

• Single item pickup (mattress, appliance, sofa): $75–$175
• Small load (quarter truck): $150–$350
• Medium load (half truck): $300–$550
• Large load / full property cleanout: $500–$800+

Specialty jobs — piano removal, safe removal, hoarding cleanouts, large estate cleanouts — are priced by project scope. Call to discuss.
